Happy New Year!

Update from the little islands that no one ever seems to know about! :) All is sick (great) and we are loving life here in Africa! :) Happy 2014 tudo mundo!!!

To start off, I want to give a shout out to all of those who sent letters or cards! I loved them all!! Some may still be sitting in Praia (sorry family still waiting on your package) but thank you to the Smith family, Karren family, Larsen family, and Thompson/Pynn families! :) A little love around Christmas is awesome! If anyone else sent something I might get it in April! (not sure if he's kidding...) We will see ;)

So New Year's was crazy here!! The party starts at 6:00pm on the 31 and ends at midnight of the 1. So hello crazy amounts of drunk people! Our president actually ended our day on the 31 at 7 :) The next day we only taught members because the whole world was partying!

This week we had the baptism of Hodairson (sp?)! He is the brother of Keven who was baptized 2 weeks ago! We also have three really awesome investigators here in Povoacao and they all came to the baptism and to church! It was way sweet! The work is really growing and we are loving life out here!

Good news!! Our chapel was finally started (being converted from an existing structure), and should be done here in the next 15 days, and that will make our lives so much easier!!! It looks super cool! (I will send pics when done!)

We are in week 5 of this transfer and me and my comp know that we will be split and by minis (?).... that's not a really good thing :/  Oh well, the work goes on! :) That's about it for this week. I wish you all the best!

Love,
Elder Naylor
